When choosing a video player for Windows, your primary consideration should be the ability to play the widest range of video and audio files, without downloading any plug-ins. All of this is time-consuming and takes up space on your computer, causing everything to run slowly. You can install plug-ins and codecs to improve compatibility, but some videos might remain out of reach. Relying on the installed video player could cause you to need multiple players - one to play music, one to play DVDs, one to play videos, and one for streaming - because it can’t handle the files. These built-in video players/media players only support a limited range of formats, meaning that half of the time you can’t even open the files you need. I think the software is worth every penny and I have paid for multiple legitimate upgrades over the years.Since most computers come installed with a video player, why would anyone hassle with downloading a third-party software? Simple. While I’m here, does anyone have a hacked registration code for JRiver that I could have? You are not even using JRiver to perform the theft, only to play the stolen media files, so I’m sure you would have got better advice on a different site. I would love a Ferrari but can’t afford one. If you can’t afford it then that is life and you should accept that you can’t have it. If you want it, then it is worth paying for. Please support the artists and everyone involved in the industry. Ripping became even more tricky to do legally with Blu-ray because multiple anti-piracy measures have to be circumvented and removed from the backup so it becomes a deliberate action to create a copy that no longer retains those security features so not a simple backup, but is piracy.Įither way, Piracy is wrong from any point of reasonable view. It became a bit more tricksy when DVD introduced anti-piracy features that specifically had to be circumvented in order to rip the disc. Ripping discs relies on the legal precedent that you are entitled to make a backup copy of discs you own, because it was easy to do so for CD and was a direct digital copy without tampering with any of the media contents. You MUST own the original format in order to have a legitimate backup. Note that if you sell the DVD then this whole process becomes piracy and this forum should not give you illegal assistance. Anyone happen to know if that supports ripping individual hi-res tracks from DVD to FLAC? Instead, JRiver seems only to have the option to convert the entire DVD to a single monolithic audio file, not separate tracks.Īm I doing this right? Does JRiver have only the option to convert one monolithic file, without the ability to have separate tracks plus select which audio format you want (surround or stereo)?Īlso, the thread linked to above mentions using MakeMKV for this job ( ). I expected to see a list of separate files (.iso and what not), then open one, and then see a list of audio files (some for surround sound, some for stereo 24/96), and then select files to convert. However, when I view the DVD file in JRiver > right-click > Library Tools > Convert Format > select Convert Video to Audio, the experience is very different from the 3rd-party tools I've used for DVD-A. I've read the Convert Format wiki topic ( ) and this thread ( ). Now, I'm trying to do something similar with a DVD video disc (Genesis Abacab). Previously, I've successfully used both DVD Audio Extractor and DVD Audio Explorer to rip hi-res 24/96 audio files from DVD-A discs. Many of these Z engines have a S cast in the manifold, but that does not neccasarily mean it`s a S engine. The Z was the regular 390 4 barrel that came in non GT Fairlanes, as well as Galaxies, TBirds & their Mercury counterparts. The S was the 390 GT engine, used in the Fairlane GT/GTA& Mustangs. This dual pattern began in 1966 with the introduction of the FE FAIRLANE. The 14 bolt exhaust pattern heads were used on the intermediates (FAIRLANE/MUSTANG) as they had the side-by-side pattern so as the special exhaust manifolds could be serviced in the tight confines of the engine compartment. The intake manifold (C6AZ 9424-N) could have been used on a multitude of that period FE's. It was far from a low performance engine. The SHELBY received the 428PI ("P" code) in 1967 (and early 1968). I can get the intake for $20 but is it a 390 S-code intake? It did have the big S on it. How could I identify if it was a 390 or a 428? Balancer, Distributor are still there and the heads had the standard big car exhaust bolt pattern. The AC and PS brackets were still on the engine also. Most of the dash and interior was removed along with the carb. I couldn?t find a VIN on the car at all but it was definitely a 67 and even still had the big multiple piston brake calipers on it. Did the 67 T-bird have a S-code engine in it? - Mustangsandmore Forum Archive ![]() This time I did some "Bing" translation, and got the English language page - there is an option, but it's covered by one of those pop-up boxes. It appeared to want money - I don't know - I don't speak French and I wasn't going to press any keys that might commit me to "doing something bad" - so I got out of there, and didn't pursue the Map Tool until January 9th. The Discord link worked ok, but it took me to an "LFischer-something" website with big messages blocking half of the content - and all in the French language. ![]() To be honest - this is one of the reasons why I hadn't used 7D2DMPMG's little tool after I saw it in December. I'm not sure if these are in fact, the SP's, as they might also be some end-point of the new road system - a junction point or something - but if they are SP's - can you make them a little larger, please? After opening the png in PaintShopPro and increasing the color intensity/depth - I can see a pair of very small, yellow, crescent-shaped lines at the "T" junctions of the roads right near each of the Traders - which is the approximate location where I have spawned in each of the last five or six A20 RWG maps started. The building type area colour codes being listed along the bottom, along with the Traders being marked with circles - and named - is a real bonus. Other than that - this little tool has a number of unexpected features, and produces a very good map, and with (what I think are) "common sense" colours, too. (but I may also be blind.) It's not really an issue, as the spawnpoints xml gives them, and one can manually add them to the map. (There should be 13 in this map.) I have zoomed in tight and scrolled every piece of the map, yet don't see one. Super tool! I had only one issue - I see no bright yellow Spawn Points on my first (and only) map yet. ![]() Many characters have conversations before and after battle, which, through syntax and word choice, add to every character. I don’t necessarily dislike the Japanese voices, but character interactions have been lost without any English dub. While the entire story is translated, there is no English voice setting, despite the rest of the series including it. I believe that the key to exposition is striking a balance between narration and character dialogue. The size of the Library means that most will never see all it has to offer, but for those who enjoy delving deep into lore, the Library is a wonderful feature. I often found myself lost among the many writings of the Library, eager to understand the world of BlazBlue. Characters, families, locations, factions, and many other elements of the BlazBlue series have thorough entries explaining who or what they are, their history, and most importantly, their relations with the rest of the cast. Luckily, Central Fiction offers an immense Library mode to help improve one’s understanding. Having a story with such a grand scope means that there will be many names constantly used, with little time to explain each one. It is worth completing both modes since they are all well made, but having two options to witness such a large story is definitely appreciated. Arcade mode has some events that story mode does not, and vice versa. This is a story mode for those who only care about the fighting aspect of BlazBlue the ratio of combat to cutscene seems to be catering to those who want an introduction to the cast without the visual novel aspect of the main story. These are split into three Acts, though some characters only have an Act two and/or three. In Arcade Mode, characters fight series of partially randomized, partially event based battles. Central Fiction has a surprisingly long story, so I will not spoil any of it, but I will say that the conclusion makes the waiting worth it.Īrcade Mode also provides an additional layer to the story. Ragna’s journey is one filled with tension, as the man must decide who to trust and what to do. Being so large, the Librarium is nothing close to a single cohesive unit, so plotting between its many factions begins to ensue. After rebelling against the Librarium, he becomes a highly sought fugitive, with bounties so high they mitigate any fear of his power. Ragna The Bloodedge, a hardened, intimidating figure, was separated from his family in a tragedy and took up the way of the sword under the wise Jubei. Originally created as a peacekeeping force, it has become an authoritarian power by Ragna’s time. ![]() Around this time, the Novus Orbis Librarium is established. After the Beast’s defeat, its body emits toxic levels of seithr, forcing humanity to migrate to floating cities at safer altitudes. The Duodecim, a group of twelve families, learned the power of Ars Magus to help the Heroes defeat the Beast. Long ago, the Black Beast was defeated by a group of Six Heroes. An optional 30 minute recap is available at the beginning of the story, and there are many external sources that can efficiently set the scene for Central Fiction. I feared that I would fail to understand the plot, considering that I missed 3 games of it, but the game does a decent job at explaining things while not bogging down the experience for series veterans. The story spans multiple universes, time travel, changes to the continuum, and many more literary devices that make the story have a seemingly endless amount of lore and events. The epic of Ragna takes place over 4 games, with Central Fiction being the last. As a result, Central Fiction didn’t have instantaneous drop in popularity that so often comes with the release of a newer title. This leads to the current predicament: Which game is better? Does Central Fiction represent the true BlazBlue experience, or does that title belong to its younger brother?īlazBlue was notable for its extensive story ever since the original game’s release. The latest game in the BlazBlue series is Cross Tag Battle, but distinct mechanics differentiate it. BlazBlue: Central Fiction is in a strange spot.
